Dutch silk flowers marketplace Bloom & Wolf raises €1.4M pre-seed round led by CapitalT

Amsterdam-based Bloom & Wolf has raised a €1.4 million pre-seed funding round to further expand its faux flower service. The investment was led by CapitalT, with additional support from Joanna Invests and angel investors.

  • Founded in 2022 by Gwen van de Pas, Bloom & Wolf is a Dutch startup that offers a faux flower service across the Netherlands. The company operates a platform where customers can choose from a variety of faux flower bouquets and vases, available for either rent or purchase.
  • Bloom & Wolf states that its faux flower service costs four times less than using fresh flowers and contributes to environmental conservation by saving 85 times fewer CO2 emissions. 

Details of the funding round 

  • The pre-seed funding round was led by CapitalT, a venture capital firm based in Amsterdam that invests in software tech startups across various European cities, including the Netherlands, United Kingdom, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, and Germany.
  • Amsterdam-based Joanna Invests, a venture capital firm that supports and back women founders, together with various angel investors participated in the round.

Bloom & Wolf plans to expand its service by increasing the range of products and enhancing its B2B sales capacity.
