PGNiG Ventures is a corporate venture capital fund investing in companies with unique and exceptional products, services, know-how, business models and powerful management team, which provide innovative solutions in the following fields: • Exploration and Mining aimed at cost and emission reduction • Carbon Capture and Storage • Smart Grids • Energy Storage • Alternative Transport Fuels • Circular Economy and Waste Management • Digital Technologies including: IoT, AI, Machine Learning, Big Data, Robotics, VR and AR, Smart Utilities and Smart Infrastructure. With the minority equity position of PGNiG Ventures, key decisions related to the company’s activity remain within the remit of the present management. The financing is provided in two rounds of funding and may amount up to PLN 15 million per company. The expected investment period is from 3 to 7 years.
