Early Game Ventures (EGV, earlygame.vc) is an early-stage venture capital firm with offices in Bucharest and the Hague, investing in technology startups across Central and Eastern Europe. Founded in 2017 by Cristian Munteanu, EGV manages €100M+ across two funds. Fund II, a vehicle backed by the European Investment Fund, invests in 25–30 companies from pre-seed to Series A, with initial checks of €500K–€2M and up to €6M per company over its lifetime. EGV focuses on AI, cybersecurity, enterprise software, and deep tech, and acts as lead and first institutional investor.
