Cottonwood's investment criteria are as follows: Sector focus: B2B High-Tech/ Hard Science (e.g. Photonics, Micro- and Nanoelectronics, Nanotech, Advanced Materials, Climate Tech, Health Sciences, Advanced Manufacturing and Robotics) Regional focus: Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Denmark, Finland, Sweden, Switzerland, Southwest USA (NM, AZ, UT, CO, TX) Business Stage: Pre-Seed, Seed & Early Stage Ticket Size: min. €500.000 and max. €3 million in the first round Other Requirements: IP/ patent-based technology Current and prior investments include Skorpios Technologies, Sarcos Robotics (NASDAQ: STRC), Exagen (NASDAQ: XGN), BayoTech, Sencure, Infinitum Electric, Flexiramics (previously Eurekite), FibeRio (acquired by Clarcor), xF Technologies, Respira Therapeutics, TriLumina (acquired by Lumentum), SoundEnergy, OPNT, mPower Technology & Sencure.
