Gideon Brothers - Croatian robotics and AI solutions company that makes robots powered by AI & 3D vision and the accompanying software platform specializing in handling processes for logistics, warehousing, manufacturing and retail businesses. (Series A - €26.3M fromDB Schenker, HCVC, Koch Disruptive Technologies, Pentland Ventures, Prologis Ventures and Rite-Hite).
Rezuro - Polish startup that develops a marketplace platform for renting rooms and apartments online. (Seed - €450K from Next Road Ventures, Smok Ventures and Corvus Ventures).
Time is Ltd. - Czech collaboration analytics platform that improves productivity and company culture through meetings, emails and IM analytics. (Seed - €4.6M from Mike Chalfen -Chalfen Ventures, Accel, Acequia Capital [AceCap], Illuminate Financial).
Molecule.one - Polish startup developing AI-powered drug synthesis platform. (Seed - €3.9M from AME Cloud Ventures, Atmos Ventures, Cherubic Ventures, Firlej Kastory, Inventures and Sunfish Partners).
Nutritionpro - Czech company providing box diets, that can be customized to the customer’s specific needs and therefore makes reaching the goal like weight loss or gain much more simple. (Seed - undisclosed amount from Lighthouse Ventures).
SonarHome - Polish startup offering a solution called iBuying that enables the quick and safe sale of an apartment directly to SonarHome and it can be later resold to interested buyers. (Seed - €5.6M from Kogito Ventures, Market One Capital).
Recart - Hungarian startup aiming to help companies with selling more via their e-commerce stores. Startup assists online stores in full marketing automation, so they can stay in touch with their customers in a more effective way. (Seed - €2.8M from Day One Capital, Lead Ventures and Oktogon Ventures).
Ramp - Polish startup working on connecting blockchain with banks using open banking APIs. The solution allows users to buy crypto without leaving dApp or a wallet and therefore making the whole process more smooth and efficient. (Seed - €8.5M from Firstminute Capital, Galaxy Digital, Mozilla, NFX and Seedcamp).
AgeVolt - Slovakian unique charging system for electric cars with the ambition to streamline, simplify and improve the efficiency of charging vehicles. (Venture round - €600K from InoBat, IPM Group and Venture to Future Fund).
Smabbler - Polish startup building a horizontal language engine built to interpret, generalize and infer from unstructured text. (Undisclosed round and amount).
Brunch - Romanian tech startup allowing web developers, designers and marketers to collaborate better while designing the website. (Seed - €250K from Ulpia Ventures).
Meetsales - Polish remote sales enablement platform allowing sales teams to meet clients on-line, present products and complete orders. (Pre-seed - €2.7M from Atlantic Labs, Spryker Systems, and various business angels)

New VC Funds Investing In CEE

Fuel Ventures - a well-recognized VC fund launches its new $63M fund aimed to invest into 60 tech startups within 12 months.
Balderton Capital - London-based VC is launching a €560M fund to support future tech giants across the whole of Europe.
Fortino Capital - has announced the final closing of its €105M fund dedicated to promising early-stage B2B software and technology companies across Europe.

Interesting Events For CEE Startup Community

MozCon - is a virtual, marketing conference where startups can get insights from industry leaders in fields like SEO, search marketing, mobile, conversion optimization, local search, and many more. The event will take place from 12th to 14th of July.
Future Mobility Europe - is an event aimed at spreading knowledge about the automotive industry, in particular autonomous vehicles and related technical aspects - AI, data, networks. This year's summit will be held online on 13-14 July.
Asia Tech - is an event dedicated to startups offering services to the Asian market or willing to expand activities into this region. The conference will be held virtually from 13th to 16th July, and will consist of various panels covering important topics like among others growing a business or entering new markets.
Game Developers Conference - is a conference bringing together the game development community to exchange ideas, solve problems and shape the future of the industry. The event will take place online from 19th to 23rd of July.
Extra Crunch Live - is a series of online events and live speeches that will be run in July and upcoming months and will cover topics connected to the startup's ecosystem like development, raising funds and others.
Nauta Labs - a new initiative recently launched by Nauta Capital, European venture capital firm investing in capital-efficient B2B software and deeptech companies, aiming to support and accelerate the growth of early-stage deeptech European startups.

Other Regional News Worth Your Attention

Softbank decided to invest $130 million in the Polish online shoe shop eobuwie ahead of its planned initial public offering (IPO). Bought bonds will be converted into shares in the event of IPO.

What’s more JOKR - a quick delivery startup, promising to deliver basic grocery purchases in 15 minutes is starting its operations on the Polish market. The company was founded in 2021 and has already raised $119M from Softbank, Tiger Global Management, HV Capital, and Market One Capital.
