Rohlik - Czech grocery delivery startup that is offering up to 90 minutes, same-day delivery services. (Series D - €220M from Index Ventures, ORBIT Capital, Sofina, business angel).
Lemonero - Czech fintech startup that works on an AI-driven lending tool for small and middle-sized online businesses. (Seed - €12M from Komerční banka, a Czech bank and a member of the French financial group Société Générale).
The Batteries - Polish company that develops innovative, manufacturing technology to produce thin and durable film batteries at a reasonable cost. (Series A - €7.6M from Aper Ventures, InnoEnergy, JR Holding, UAB Electronics System).
4Trans Factoring - Czech fintech startup that’s provides factoring services in logistics and supply-chain sectors. (Seed €3M (+ €15M in debt funding) from Atmos Ventures, Lighthouse Ventures, Tera Ventures and Advance Global Capital (in debt part)).
Pergamin - Polish legal tech startup that works on an online ‘draft & sign’ platform , with the goal to simplify creating, negotiating and managing contracts. (Seed - €1.15M from FundingBox Deep Tech Fund, Sunfish Partners).
Fyrtel - Polish e-commerce startup working on a platform and an app that enables easy online shopping from local retailers. (Seed- €850K from CofounderZone, Movens Capital, business angels).
Profluo - Romanian machine learning startup that builds a complete, ML-based technology to automate the processing of accounting documents. (Seed - €500K from Early Game Ventures).
The Outfit - Romanian online personal styling service helping customers discover & buy the right clothes for their body, style and occasion. (Seed - €770K from TSG Capital, business angels).
Radian - Slovenia-based production automation startup, that creates unified production networks using the workflow constructor. (Series A - €600K from undisclosed investors).
Meetgeek - Romanian meeting assistant that automatically records, summarizes and shares highlights of the meetings with the team. (Seed - €515K from undisclosed investors).
TRIPA - Slovakian two-sided sourcing platform that addresses the root cause of poor performance (rather than the symptoms). (Pre-seed - undisclosed amount and investors).
Acreom - Czech dev-first knowledge base with task management features. (Seed - undisclosed amount from Expedite Ventures, Nation 1).
Quantee - Polish SaaS startup that works on AI-based dynamic insurance pricing. (Seed - €650K from FundingBox Deep Tech Fund, Nunatak Capital).
Liki24 - Ukrainian e-commerce platform that provides medicine delivery services. (undisclosed round and amount from SID Venture Partners).

VC Funds Investing In CEE

Breega - Paris-based VC firm has announced the next fund of €250M specifically aimed at supporting approximately 20 founders raising capital at Series A and above levels.
Octopus Ventures - has unveiled its first, pre-seed, £10M VC fund to fill the growing gap in very early-stage funding for European founders.
All Iron Ventures - recently launched €30M fund of funds with a goal to invest in established VC managers across stages and segments focusing on Europe.
3VC - Vienna-based 3VC has announced its second fund in a total amount of €150 million, with a goal to invest into software and Web3 infrastructure.
Project A - Berlin-based VC firm Project A Ventures has raised a new $375M fund to continue backing early-stage European tech companies.
Team of Polish investors and entrepreneurs has announced creation of two funds of a total value €100M, to back early-stage startups.

Interesting Events For CEE Startup Community

The Metaverse Summit - is a convention focusing on bringing together innovators, entrepreneurs and investors from diverse fields of expertise, to explore and build the future of the metaverse. The event will take place from 16th to 17th of July, în Paris, France.
Turing Fest - is a merchant payments industry conference. The 2022 edition will be the event’s first in-person iteration since 2019, and will feature more than 120 speakers as well as attract over 1200+ attendees. The event will take place on 27th-28th of July, in Edinburgh.

E-commerce giant Zalando, has announced the acquisition of a majority stake in Highsnobiety for an undisclosed sum. The two companies will now “join forces to lead the way in engaging and inspiring customers”.
