Paris-based data insights platform, Omaha Insights, has raised €3.5 million in seed funding to expand its solution globally, launching across Europe and the US. The funding round was led by Ventech, with participation from Axeleo Capital (AXC) and VIA AM.
- Founded in 2024 by Bryant Matthews and Jordan Alloun, Omaha Insights develops an AI-driven platform that transforms complex accounting data into standardized economic insights for investors.
- The platform helps asset managers, investment banks, and analysts assess companies’ financial health and growth potential by overcoming inconsistencies in global accounting standards.
- Omaha’s solution also offers a platform for in-depth analysis and an API for quantitative funds. It enhances valuation accuracy and stock analysis through precise economic adjustments, significantly reducing the time spent on traditional methods.
Details of the deal
- Ventech Capital, a global venture capital firm with offices in Paris, Munich, Berlin, Helsinki, Stockholm, Shanghai, and Hong Kong, led the seed round. The firm supports tech startups with global ambitions and has made over 200 investments.
"This first round of funding, just six months after the startup's creation, further demonstrates the ambition and total credibility of the duo," General Partner at Ventech, Audrey Soussan, commented.
- The round also received support from Axeleo Capital (AXC), a Lyon-based VC managing €300 million in assets and recently securing €125 million for its €250 million Green Tech Industry I Fund, as well as VIA AM, a Paris-based investment management firm.
- With the new capital, Omaha Insights aims to scale its AI-driven platform globally, focusing on expansion in Europe and the US, while enhancing its SaaS and API solutions to deliver deeper financial insights and boost global fund performance.
